LevelUp Family Chores is a family chore and screen-time app operated by ZeusAI ("we"). Parents create and manage all accounts; kids sign in with a login name and PIN created by their parent.
Parent account: email address and name, used only to create and secure your account.
Kid profiles: a first name (or nickname) and a PIN chosen by the parent. Kid profiles have no email, phone number, or contact information.
Family activity: chores, points, rewards, and screen-time sessions your family creates in the app. This content is visible only inside your family.
No advertising and no third-party ad networks. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We never sell data or share it with data brokers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the first name a parent enters. Kids cannot create accounts themselves.
Data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) and protected with row-level security so each family can only access its own data. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive only the name and email Apple shares (you may hide your email).
LevelUp has an optional Alexa skill that lets a parent start or stop a kid's screen timer and ask how much time is left, by voice. It only works after a parent links their LevelUp account in the Alexa app. Kids cannot link or use it on their own.
What Amazon sends us. We never receive your voice or a recording. Amazon turns what you say into a request (for example "start screen time" plus a kid's first name and a number of minutes) and sends that request to LevelUp.
What we store.
Linking tokens: when you link, we store a one-time code (valid for 5 minutes) and a refresh token that lets Alexa stay signed in. We store only a scrambled (hashed) form of each, never the token itself. Refresh tokens last up to 180 days and are replaced every time Alexa uses one.
A request log: for each Alexa request we keep a short record: the time, your family and the kid it was for, what was asked (for example "start screen time"), whether it worked, and the reply Alexa read out. We use it to fix problems and to show what happened. It is kept for 90 days and then deleted.
What we do not do. We do not use Alexa requests for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except Amazon, which delivers the reply to your device.
Unlinking and deleting. You can unlink at any time in the Alexa app (Skills & Games > Your Skills > LevelUp > Disable Skill). After that Alexa can no longer act on your family. Deleting your LevelUp account (Settings in the app, or by e-mail to jbode@zeusbot.ai) deletes your linking tokens and your Alexa request log along with the rest of your family's data. Amazon keeps its own voice records under the Amazon privacy notice; you can review and delete them in the Alexa app (Settings > Alexa Privacy).
You can delete your parent account and all family data from Settings in the app. Deletion is permanent. You can also request deletion by email.
